After a ten hour drive to my home in WV, Derrek and I took a flight to his hometown in Minnesota to visit with his family as we waited for our flight out to Greece.


We were very productive in finishing the restoration process of Derrek's anchor. Taking it out of its reverse electrolysis bath and painting it with a special rust protective covering. 














While there, I also met his new 15 month year old puppy Marvin (aka MacGruber / Goober) a golden retriever. He was such a sweetheart and enjoyed playing tag / hide and go seek with us during our stay.
