Sailing Around

Derrek and I have been enjoying the last few weeks sailing around Miami Beach and the Keys doing a few ASA 101 and 103 courses. Morning Dance is still in the process of having her engine fixed so we have been basing all of our charters out of & sometimes on S/V Island Dreamer (stay tuned in a few days for pictures of S/V Morning Dance's Progress!!) During this time, Morning Dance has been at the Club's docks and we've been enjoying living the 'dock life.' Doing the dishes with tons of fresh water, unlimited hot water showers, and being able to walk to shore without a dinghy ride any time we want. Cooper has even kept himself very entertained by watching the stray cats walk the docks occasionally trying to climb on board our and neighboring boats.



Day Off!!

 Today was also Derrek and I's first day off in a while where we weren't 'babysitting' mechanics or prepping for a charter. We enjoyed it by 'sleeping in' til 7:30, going to the gym (weights, laps in the pool and hot tubs! Whoo hoo!) and a leisurely sail around Monument Island and South Beach in Kermit.
