Last week we had a mechanic over to check out S/V Barefoot's engine for her 3,000 hour maintenance check up. It costs around $95 an hour for him to come out but it is definitely worth having the peace of mind that everything is still ship shape!

Derrek took the access panels and doors off of the engine to help make accessing the engine easier for the mechanic and even loosened a few bolts to make the process go smoothly. 

Derrek and I just completed a week long adventure with a cute couple from California where they achieved their Bareboat certifications. During their charter we sailed down to Key Largo where we enjoyed secluded island parks and local Tiki bars along the way.


For Thanksgiving Dinner we even met Harold and Margie who were on a charter of their own at Boca Chita and hosted everyone on board S/V Barefoot combing Margie and I's meals together for a lavish feast. We had 10 people comfortably dining aboard S/V Barefoots in our salon!
